In my opinion, Houzz Pro software has been a mixed bag. It could be more user friendly.Calls:I do not pick-up unknown numbers, it would be ideal that if a Houzz Rep is calling because they have a match on the phone, that the id says Houzz says HOUZZ, so I know to pick it up. The design program only has a limited selection of furnishings. It would be great to ask the prospective client how serious or if they are just searching for ideas.I have met with several prospective clients, and I feel they just wanted my ideas and then hired a contractor to implement them.I would like a better program to draw and present to clients with a better selection of furnishings. When I call sometimes, they act surprised. It bothers me that I take the time to reply to their inquiry and they do not even acknowledge it. I feel that most of the clients are not serious about their projects. She is very prompt to reply all of my questions. , my sales rep has made all the difference and always convinces me to keep renewing the membership. I think that the idea is to pay more to get more areas but so far, I have not been able to the money I have invested in Houzz. The program is good but in the 4 years I have been paying I have only had 1 prospective client become a client and completed a project. They do not care that they sold me on something that was a pure lie. They ran me through hours of calls trying to get this resolved but all the account manager kept telling me was that she'd give me 1 month free and she was sorry I felt the way I did. When they did replay, they just referred me to links on the website and youtube videos. Anytime I had a question I'd try to use the online chat option. The night before our training I got an email cancelation with no explanation of why he canceled. After expressing my concerns about the time difference with our trainer, they placed us with someone in Arkansas. Then when we finally did, she ran through her "training" in less than 5 minutes. They paired us with an advisor that was in a time zone 4 hours behind us so we were never able to connect. They started our subscription before the 30 day trial was up then refused to cancel our subscription. They sold me on something they promised we would get ample training on. This product has a lot of features that could be useful if Houzz actually taught you how to use it. I am still having to pay monthly for something we cannot even use. They are working on that & are very responsive to this type of feedback. Some of the features are designed by software engineers with little regard to how many clicks it takes for a user to get to the detail they want to update. Plus, all our communication is visible for my whole team to review. Clients get the convenience of texting and I don't have my professional texts mixed in with personal texts. They can review the project from anywhere on their devices and all the information is in one place. It is a dedicated space for communication, documentation, financial payments, daily logs and timeline. dwg files.Another of my favorite features is the Client Dashboard. It is an invaluable tool - and I can create them fast! I like to scan the existing spaces, but I could also upload my. They love their finished spaces before the first hammer swings. It gives them the confidence to visualize the end result right from the start. Every time a client sees my designs with this feature, all hesitation or nervousness on making major changes melts away. My favorite tool is the Augmented Reality walk through. New features roll out all the time based on requests from designers. HouzzPro allows me to have one dedicated program for my interior design projects.
